TMTA ORANGE BALL

ORANGE BALL

Players at this level use a slightly bigger court and a smaller orange ball. Kids gain more consistency in their strokes with faster drills and direct shots away from their opponents.

TMTA ORANGE BALL

SUPER ORANGE BALL

Players looking to join the academy are encouraged to join our Super Orange Ball Clinics. These 90 minute sessions prepare our young players for tournaments and transitioning into the academy.

TMTA GREEN BALL

GREEN BALL

Young players develop an understanding of the opponent’s strengths and weaknesses and learn to incorporate these tactics in attacking and defending their position.

Players in this stage prepare for the physical demands of covering a full court. Increased tactical development is emphasized including use of angles, spin, depth control and moving the opponent.

Fitness conditioning clinics led by an athletic trainer, help athletes improve cardiovascular fitness, muscular strength and endurance, and flexibility.

TMTA YELLOW BALL

YELLOW BALL

The final stage of the tennis development pathway. We review the skills and techniques developed over the years and focus on social interaction with other players.

Junior players aiming for their High School Varsity team follow this track that starts with moving from playing with a Green Ball and a slightly smaller court to using the full court and a high-compression traditional Yellow Ball. Yellow Ball players receive coaching to help them be competitive on high school teams.
